All sorted ! I had connected to the wrong 3 pin cable. The one I tried had cables with a yellow outer sleeve around them. This didn't work. However, I found another 3 pin connector at the back of the radio, and this one worked perfectly. Still didn't work using UniDiag, but worked first time with FE...
