either noise on CAN bus and body ECU returns empty proxi list or someone in the past replaced BCM or deleted proxi config.

choose any other engine and perform proxi there - should work without any issue.

big chance it won't work due to changes in disk partition tables.
you can always deactivate your license, send deactivation code and new HW code to support and you should get new key.

follow steps in MES manual for setting up adapter.

most likely bug in MES procedure.
try with latest AlfaOBD - same bug is fixed there or use other diagnostic scanner like Launch (verified and procedure works), Autel (haven't tried this one).

until you re-do this procedure, car won't crank.

most of the SGW bypass cables/adapters on market are pretty good quality so it's up to you which to get.

you need to turn seating heating option in proxi too.
