There is currently some work being done to identify which bits in the PROXI Alignment data to alter in order to turn on Race mode on the Giulia. This of course coincides with at proper RDNA selector being installed.

Depends on the year and possibly the region. I know for sure that the Alfa Romeo Giulia in North America with build dates later than about February of 2018 have a Software Gateway present that prevents writing to the system.
