Hi,
Just want to share information.
If somebody is getting the P24D1 / P24D1-92 code on any modern Fiat or derivative, check if it has a 4 wire Soot sensor (not an Nox sensor!) it is located at the very back of all te emissions stuff at the exhaust, the rest of exhaust is just a piece of pipe.
If it has the 4 wire sensor, you should change it to a 5 wire sensor. Call the local dealer for what part number is needed. This is a recall. When you fit the 5 wire sensor, the dealer can flash the ecu so it accepts the 5 wire sensor.
It has a small electrical box connected to the sensor, so the plug of the car fits in both the new and old sensor.
Check added files.
