Shame you drilled a hole to the dpf, if you connect the differential sensor hose with a t-piece both to the first connection there should not be a need to drill a hole.

Any idea why it's in limp mode still with no EML or DCTs?
Also any idea why it won't regen? Bad software for this ECU or is it a parameter that is out?

I meant I wonder if it's a bug with MES?
The ECU map is very likely to be stock as it's previously thrown up codes for EGR and DPF.
Can anything else cause limp mode without a fault code? If the car had previously failed to regen a number of times and then went into limp mode with "engine failure" EML DPF light etc, would this then require a successful forced regen to get out of limp mode?

take it for a drive on highway - warm up engine, speed at least 60km/h, rpm at least 3000 and drive for about 10-15km in such conditions. should burn and clean DPF if it's clogged to much.

Engine light plus limp mode on my 2011 159 Ti. MES current version (May 2025) plus set of green/red/yellow etc cables, the green cable successfully connects to the ECU.
MES shows a P1206 error which I understand means DPF differential pressure measurement out of range, apparently attributable to the DPF being clogged. DPF pressure differential was recorded as about 150mb at idle and the DPF clogging at 102%.
Hooked up MES wiith the engine fully warmed up (well, the water temp at just under 90deg) at idle (looks like 850rmp) and with the car stationary (handbrake on) and the transmission in park, and tried to initiate a forced regen. MES thought about it for a sec and then gave the error message of "invalid conditions for test" with a brief glimpse (no more than 2 secs) of a set of engine parameters, then the error message and info blinked off again. Repeated this several times, no change.
The car was absolutely within the MES-advised conditions for the test, so, my question is: was the decision to not initiate the regen made by MES, and if so how could I tell what other additional parameter or condition was causing that failure to proceed?

Update - dosed fuel with regen additive then spent 2 hours on a nearby freeway at above 2000 RPM - regen started happening about 1.5 hours in going up a long hill. Clogging down to 24% and the ECU is happy to allow boost again.
