Airbag Node (NAB/ORC): EOL Failed

When performing a proxi alignment on my 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Q4, I am getting a timeout on the airbag module.

I have done the following troubleshooting/config steps so far:

• Software: Updated to 5.3R1

• Software: Interface set to ELM 327 HIGH SPEED and passes test

• Software: Can connect to airbag module directly using grey adapter to read data

• Software: Reset all codes in DTC scan and retry

• Car: No weight on passenger seat

• Car: No seatbelts buckled

• Car: Disconnected battery and installed SGW

• Port Settings: Set BPS to 115200

• Port Settings: latency to 1

• Port Settings: Set minimum timeout read/write to highest value

• Performed full proxi alignment 5x times with no change in result, with key off for at least a minute after before restart

• Diag: Captured PDF diagnostic report after latest attempt (attached), no apparent changes during any attempt

I am also getting all kinds of various warning lights and odometer flashing which I presume are due to the alignment not completing after module change, as they only happened after installing the SGW.

Any thoughts on what I am missing to get all the modules aligned? Thanks!

there was problem with proxi alignment on airbag node on MY23/MY24 models not sure if it was fixed. try contacting support for more information.

Thanks I went ahead and did so. I wasn't able to find any mention of that issue elsewhere, and the module is listed as supported on the Vehicle Support list and there are no asterisks or warnings listed so hopefully there is a fix pending.
