Yep, just modded my Ebay Elm 1.4 in this way, even though circuit board was different. Now I can access the CAN network and reset the service message. (after paying for registration)
Love it when you get genuine help that makes real progress.

ELM327 v1.3a
OBD to RS232 Interpreter
ELM327 v1.3a
OBD to RS232 Interpreter IC
and a MCP2551 transceiver IC
ELM327 v1.4b
OBD to RS232 Interpreter
ELM327 v1.4b
OBD to RS232 Interpreter IC
and a MCP2551 transceiver IC
And the last question (I promise that I will not bother you anymore

) is this full box (motherboard/cables), or only the chip which I need to put on my existing board?
I alredy have cables from ODB to RS232 and to USB.
Thanks in advance, and sorry for bothering you...

I do ELM1 (1,7,9,12 pins bridge).But,ELM327->Cannot ecu.Check serialports and pins.
I can ecu and automatic transmission.Did I something missing?
Otherwise,Do you need to VAG-COM to buy.
My car is error VDC.When I turn the car off, error is lost(disappear). When I use the AC(air conditioner), lamp on,occasionally.

				I make adapter cable1,but don't use.
I Don't know DIP Switch.

If,I removed r04 ,does it work ELM327.
Thank you for everything.

I have ELM 327 interface as shown on page # 6 of this topic:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1493&start=50
I had to remove resistor 04 because it did not worked! When I removed the resistor my ELM327 interface started to work!
If your EM327 interface is same as shown on page #6 than you should remove resistor 04.
But if your EM327 interface is not same as shown on page #6 do not remove resistor 04.
Did you tried to connect your adapter cable #1 to your ELM327 and then to a car?
Then you should connect FES to ABS system of your car...

				Hi m8
Yes remove the resistor R04 like Mr. Alfa156sarajevo said and all will be ok.
You're interface will start to work on CAN
Good luck
