Giulia 2019 Scheduled Maintenance Infotainment Reset

Hi,
Yesterday, I registered the 5.3 MultiEcuScan software on my laptop. I'm using the ELM 327 Fast Port driver to connect to my Giulia 2019 Base 2.0 model. I was able to commit most of the functions, mostly readings functions. Also, I was able to Reset the Oil Change dashboard warning. But when trying to reset the Scheduled Maintenance Expired message from the Infotainment, the software displays in less than 3 seconds the following error; "Failed to Execute". I do not have a SGW bypass. Does it mean I need the SGW bypass?
FYI... if this helps, the Infotainment due days passed the scheduled date. In other words, I changed the oil after the count days expired on the displayed screen.
