2017 Fiat 500 Lounge - wrong body controller?

Hi

I’ve been using MES with my recently purchased UK model 2017 Fiat 500 Lounge 1.2.

Everything has been fine, except for the fact that if I try and access the “Body” controller in MES, and I select “Body Computer Delphi (312)” - what I would expect it to be - it connects but tells me that it’s invalid ISO code (or something like that), and that I should use “500c” instead.

“Body Computer Delphi (312) MY12” shows the same warning.

The problem is - my car isn’t a 500c. It’s a regular hardtop Lounge.

I have no reason to believe the BCM would have ever been changed. There’s no indication that it has been, but I suppose it’s possible?

Does anyone know why this is? Is this normal for this type of car?

Thanks in advance.

module ISO code can change after dealer software updates. sometimes MES database does not have latest info on which ISO-software version correspond to each other.

if not sure you can always read P/N of your body ECU and check with dealer if it belongs originally to your car.

Thanks.

Dumb question but would I have to actually find the BCM in the car to read the part number off of it? Or is it something I can find in MES?

Info tab should list current P/N
