Uconnect7 blackout

FIAT500's 7-inch Uconnect sometimes blacks out.
Do you have any update information?

Some systems have been know to overheat and lockup etc.

You could have an overheat issue.

You could try removing the out bezel and sliding the unit out a little to give it more air.

Does it still blackout / lockup?

I found the following information from the manufacturer's website.
There seems to be a USB update for the car radio SW to version 23.00.81.04 or later.
The update includes a black screen.
Do you have updated software?

I suspect a Dealer Only or and independent garage that has access to Fiat service systems can get and do the update.
