ELM 327 WITH USB CONNECTION

Hello
I have ELM 327 with USB connection and my laptop has USB ports only.
multiecuscan works with COM port only .
what shall I do to make it work .

nothing.
your laptop will open a virtual COM port using a real usb one

Just plug in your USB interface and install the driver.
Then start Multiecuscan and go to "Settings".
Check (mark) "Show available ports only".
Then select a "Serial port" from the list (There will probably be only 1 option available).
Select "ELM 327 v1.3+" as Interface Type.
Set Port Speed to 38400.
Click "Test" button.

I did not see that it makes a virtual com port .
problem is solved .
