Hi all,

Recently, I connected my ELM Scan 5 scanner with MultiEcuscan software to my Palio Reestiling 2 (1.8 8V) and threw the following error:

U1602 can line Error / Invalid Signal / Fatal

Attached photo that show multiecuscan screen ....

How should this error? I read elsewhere that it's probably the main key have dead battery or the main battery of the car (power) that no longer has enough power, but in the first case (key), in the first instance the warning light does not appear on the dashboard (indicator light key-shaped), and in the second case (main battery), I tell them the car turned on quickly ...

Regards,

If you do not have any errors on dash when you driving your car and car is working normally (all the keys) then try to ignore this message... :D

I have occasionally seen this error on a number of Fiats I have owned. You can clear the error down but I bet the next time you look in 6 months time it may be back. I gave up worrying about this one a long time ago.

As alfa156saraievo says if all is working well with the car then just ignore it.

All communications systems, like CAN bus, will have data errors over time and it is down to the system to handle these and most. I suspect that in this case the body computer software is just being too fussy and also not self clearing the error code so it just remains there till someone bothers to reset it.
