I have this interface: AGV4000 see
http://www.obd-shop.com/danila/product_ ... 90&lang=en
it supports 11 protocols but
Under FES 3.3 if i scan for interfaces it shows up as K-line /VAGCOM
in the list of cars the 159 needs a ELM interface....
Will my interface work with FES 3.3 and a Alfa 159 1.9 JTdm
I want to buy the adapter cable set.. but want to make sure it works.....

Rather than scanning for interfaces, specify the interface type as ELM327 v1.3+ and then run the test.
This will check if it responds to ELM commands properly.

Yes, otherwise the ELM chip isn't powered up.

I tried it today.
But FES tells me the AGV4000 isn't ELM Compatible.
does can-bus works in K-line/ VAG-COM modes?
